Our Summer 2011 VPK Team - Brandon Montessori School

Ms. Tina Hancock

Ms. Tina Hancock is a Florida Certified Teacher. She has been teaching Kindergarten for one year and has served as a First Grade Substitute Teacher in the Hillsborough County School District. She has earned her ESOL endorsement. Tina earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. She was recognized as an Honor Society member for her academic achievement.

Ms. Mary Lichtenberger

Ms. Mary Lichtenberger has been a Florida Certified Teacher for nearly four years in the Hillsborough County School District. She has taught 6th Grade Advanced Math. She also serves as a Student Council Advisor and is an adolescent Track Coach. Mary received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania./p>

Ms. Kacy Oleson

Ms. Kacy Oleson is a Florida Certified Teacher. She has taught for nearly four years in the Hillsborough County School District. She has taught 1st and 6th Grades. She was voted Social Studies Teacher of the Year for 2008-2009. Kacy graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Social Science Education, graduating with honors - magna cum laude. She has spent two summers working at MOSI Summer Science camps with children of all ages.

Ms. Laura Ziegelhofer

Ms. Laura Ziegelhofer is a Florida Certified Teacher. She has been teaching Kindergarten for one year and has served as a Second Grade Intern Teacher in the Hillsborough County School District. She has earned both her ESE and ESOL endorsement. Laura earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Tampa. She has extensive experience working with children through the YMCA and with the Hillsborough County After School Program.

Our Summer 2011 VPK Team - Riverview Montessori School

Ms. Cortney Hastings

Ms. Cortney Hastings has been a Florida certified teacher for over seven years in the Hillsborough County School District teaching Middle School. She is currently working as a Peer Evaluator for the school district. Cortney graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Political Science. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at USF. Cortney has a young daughter, Aubrey. This is Ms. Cortney’s first year teaching VPK with us!

Ms. Candice Hernandez

Ms. Candice Hernandez has been a Florida certified teacher for over three years in the Hillsborough County School District. She currently teaches Kindergarten at Sessums Elementary School. Candice graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. Candice was recently married this past spring. This is Ms. Candice’s first year teaching VPK with us!

Ms. Diana Johnson

Ms. Diana Johnson has been a Florida certified teacher for over seven years in the Hillsborough County School District. She teaches ESE Kindergarten thru 2nd Grade at Frost Elementary School. Diana graduated from USF with a degree in Psychology. Diana has two children who attended Riverview Montessori for their Pre-Primary education. This is Ms. Diana’s second year teaching VPK with us!

Ms. Gail King

Ms. Gail King has been a Florida certified teacher for over seven years in the Hillsborough County School District. She currently teaches 7th Grade Math at Eisenhower Middle School. Gail graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Elementary Education and also has a Master’s Degree in Education. Gail was named Teacher of the Year in 2009 at Eisenhower Middle School. This is Ms. Gail’s first year teaching VPK with us!

Ms. Shannon Shive

Ms. Shannon Shive has been a Florida certified teacher for over five years in the Hillsborough County School District. She currently teaches 1st Grade at Stowers Elementary School. Shannon graduated from USF with a degree in Elementary Education. Shannon is married and has a son, Payton who attends our Riverview Montessori School. This is Ms. Shannon’s second year teaching VPK with us!
